Foreign Food in Kansai

We really enjoy having friends over no matter what country we're living in. We like to share foods from Canada while in Japan and vice versa when living in Canada. For example in Canada we tend to host Nabe (hot pot) Parties where as in Japan we did a lot of Chili Parties. Our signature appetizer in Japan is guacamole with big nacho chips (preferably Tostitos which were quite hard to find) although cheese and crackers is certainly a close second. I'm sure it would be easier to find ingredients in say Tokyo, but we were living in Osaka so below you will find the places we used to source our goodies to have a little slice of Canadiana in Kansai.

Buon Appetito!
