Decathlete Paul Anthony Terek (ポール・アンソニー・テレック) exploded onto the scene in Sasuke/Ninja Warrior #17. HATSUTA Keisuke (the announcer) kept repeating Paul's weight of 91 kilograms which in Japanese is "Kyujuichikiro". When Paul went from the Circle Slider to the Jump Hang in the 1ST Stage he jumped so far that he was able to grab the top bar of the Jump Hang much to the amazement of the crowd and competitors alike. He made it as far as the 3RD Stage ultimately failing the Cliffhanger obstacle. Paul came back to compete in the 19th, 22nd and 24th compeitions but was unable to clear the 1ST stage in all three attemps.
Paul also helped G4 oversee the 2nd American Ninja Challenge competition in early 2008, but he did not compete in Sasuke's 20th competition due to his training for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing (though he eventually had to drop out of the running for the Olympics after suffering a torn meniscus in his left knee).

Memorable Moments
In this SASUKE Memorable Moment we have Paul Terek attacking the 1ST Stage in Sasuke/Ninja Warrior #17. His aggressive jump for the Jump Hang obstacle is totally awesome! Perhaps Paul was the heaviest competitor to compete in Sasuke since the announcers kept repeating his weight (91 kilos!) or "kyujuichikiro" all day.
