HARASHIMA Masami (原島 雅美) works for a pen manufacturer and in his spare time is a hang gliding enthusiast. He is a SASUKE regular who usually has his hang glider with him at the starting line. Despite being a fan favourite, he has never gotten very far into the 1ST Stage, usually going out on the first obstacle. He, AOKI Yasuo, and KURAMOCHI Minoru (aka The Tako Tencho...The Octopus Master) usually have consecutive starting positions.

On some Ninja Warrior episodes, his name is mistranslated as "Masama Harajima".
